Shockwave therapy is a modality that produces pressure waves to treat conditions such as chronic tendinopathies, plantar fasciitis, calcific tendinopathies, and scar tissue build up. Shockwave therapy is a device used in orthopaedics, physiotherapy, sports medicine, urology and veterinary medicine. Its main assets are fast pain relief, improved healing rate and mobility restoration. We typically use shockwave as an adjunct to our sessions, and not the only treatment provided during each treatment.
