Emma grew up in Richmond where she spent most of her time enrolled in sports. By the time she reached highschool she developed a passion for high jump and went on to attend Indiana University on a track and field scholarship and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology in 2013. After graduating Emma went on to train professionally for Team Canada which included representing Canada at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto. Her latest achievement was becoming the 2019 Canadian National Champion in High Jump. She has since retired from her sport but continues to coach the Okanagan Athletics Club.
Emma is a member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists and has worked as a kinesiologist specializing in active rehabilitation before joining us. This is her first year in Kelowna and she is excited for all the adventures the Okanagan has to offer. Pop in and say hello to Emma!
